BIOGRAPHY

Sébastien Lemaigre is an applied bioengineer at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, specialising in anaerobic bioprocesses and process monitoring. He develops bioreactor systems and automated platforms for reactor monitoring and biomethane potential testing.

Sébastien's research explores how anaerobic bioprocesses can contribute to gas capture, carbon and nutrient recycling, and the production of high-value biomolecules, building on earlier work developing biogas-based monitoring methods for the online detection of key disturbances in anaerobic digesters.
